Apple has today released iOS 15.6.1 for iPhone, bringing bug fixes and improvements ahead of the release of iOS 16 next month.

Apple’s last iOS 15 update came in July with the release of iOS 15.6, which brought relatively minor updates, bringing general bug fixes and system improvements.

The update fixed an issue where Settings may continue to display that device storage is full even if it is available, an issue that may cause braille devices to slow down or stop responding when navigating text in Mail, and an issue in Safari where a tab may revert back to a previous page, and more.

Today’s new update is a similar bug fixing release, with the full list of improvements currently unknown.
