Issey Miyake, designer behind Steve Jobs’ iconic turtleneck and others, has died

Steve Jobs’ fashion is regarded as being just as legendary as him. The turtleneck and denim combination has been seen in sketches, and more depicting Apple style events, music videos, and many other tech CEO’s also taking a similar approach to their daily fashion.

However, the designer behind those iconic turtlenecks, the Japanese fashion designer Issey Miyake, has died aged 84, after a battle with liver cancer.

He was known for his innovative styles, fitting for clients also known for their innovation in their respective industries. He had his own fashion brand, perfume and was known for mixing the old and the new in exciting different ways.
