Apple CEO Tim Cook expected to attend Sun Valley Conference this week

Apple CEO Tim Cook is expected to attend the annual Sun Valley Conference this week, joining other high-profile attendees at what is often referred to as the “summer camp for billionaires” where corporate leaders meet to make business deals at a private resort hosted by investment firm Allen & Company.

According to Deadline, Cook is on the list of attendees for this year’s retreat, where he is usually joined by Apple’s senior vice president of Internet Software and Services Eddie Cue, though it remains unclear if Cue will be joining Cook at this year’s “summer camp,” where activities include speeches, sit in on panels about politics, healthcare, and the economy, and group activities from golf to fly-fishing, hiking, and cycling.

Alongside Cook, it is understood by Variety that the guest list will include Microsoft founder Bill Gates, Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai, Netflix co-chairs Reed Hastings and Ted Sarandos, Disney CEO Bob Chapek, Bob Iger, and Warren Buffett. Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal and Elon Musk, Meta chief Mark Zuckerberg and Sheryl Sandberg, and Spotify founder Daniel Ek are also on the list.
