Apple updates MagSafe Battery Pack firmware version

As reported by MacRumors, Apple appears to have released a nondescript new firmware update for the MagSafe Battery Pack.

Apple hasn’t shared any information on what’s new with the latest firmware version, version 2.7.b.0 version, however, users with the magnetic charging pack should see their accessory update automatically to version 2.7.b.0 when connected to an iPhone, presumably bringing improvements to optimize the performance of the battery pack.

Apple launched the MagSafe Battery Pack with the iPhone 12 in 2021. With the pack, users can charge their iPhone on the go, wirelessly. The accessory provides up to 40% additional charge with iPhone 12 Pro Max or iPhone 13 Pro Max, and up to 70% additional charge with iPhone 12 mini or iPhone 13 mini.
