Job listings hint at opening of first new UK Apple Store in 8 years

Apple appears to be preparing to open its first new Apple Store in the UK in 8 years, with job listings posted on Monday advertising full-time and part-time rolls for a new retail employees in Greater London.

The job listing don’t reveal where exactly the new Apple Store will be located, with Michael Steeber sharing in his Tabletops newsletter how the forthcoming location with be Apple’s first all-new Apple Store in the country since 2014, when Apple opened Apple Edinburgh.

Since the opening in Edinburgh, Apple has been undertaking renovations of its UK stores, with the suspected new UK location being the iPhone maker’s first major project in the capital since the renovation of its prestigious Covent Garden store in 2018 that was once the world’s largest Apple Store when it first opened in July 2010.

The new job listings follow after Apple announced last week that it would be opening a new Apple Store on Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhab shortly after unveiling its all-new Apple Yas Mall retail store in Abu Dhabi earlier this month.
