Apple has launched its annual Back to School promo, offering eligible students and school faculty free AirPods with qualifying purchases of select Mac and iPad models from now until late September.
Available initially in the United States, the promo sees customers purchasing either a MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, the new M1 24-inch iMac or Mac Pro receive a free pair of AirPods alongside the option to get 20% off AppleCare+.
Students and school faculty purchasing either the M1 iPad Pro or 2020 iPad Air also qualify for the free earbuds, similar to last year’s promotion.
Customers can choose to swap their free AirPods for the high-end AirPods Pro for $90, or add the Wireless Charging Case for the regular AirPods for $40.
