Uber on Thursday announced the expansion of its Uber Connect same-day delivery service, which is now being piloted with users in the United Kingdom.
Uber Connect, the latest on-demand service from Uber Technologies, allows users to book couriers through the Uber ride-hailing app, with the ability to track packages during their journey, a ‘Receive a package’ delivery option for requesting items from friends and family, no-contact pick-up, and more.
The delivery service launched initially in the US in April 2020.

Uber Connect is an easy, same-day, no-contact delivery solution that allows people to send items whether it’s a care package for a loved one, a gift for a friend’s birthday, an item you sold online or a work-from-home item to your colleague.
The service doesn’t allow senders to insure their packages against damage or loss and is only recommended for packages up to 13kg.
