Apple releases iOS 14.3 and watchOS 7.2

Apple has released iOS 14.3 and watchOS 7.2, bringing new various features to iPhone and Apple Watch, including the Apple ProRAW image format for the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max, updates to the TV app, bug fixes and system improvements, a new privacy information section on App Store pages, and more.

Apple has been beta testing iOS 14.3 and watchOS 7.2 for some time. The update brings Apple Fitness+, Apple’s new fitness subscription service that unlocks access to a range of guided workouts from Apple fitness coaches to help you keep fit and active.

Available to download now using the Settings app on iPhone, iOS 14.3 adds support for Apple’s new over-ear AirPods Max headphones, as well as bringing fixes for bugs that could cause some MMS messages to not be received, contact groups failing to display members when composing a message, Bluetooth problems and a bug that could cause the MagSafe Duo Charger to not fully charge an iPhone.

watchOS 7.2 on the other hand brings a new Cardio Fitness feature to the Apple Watch, Apple Fitness+, and braille keyboard support. Users can download watchOS 7.2 by opening the Watch app on iPhone and putting their watch on charge, with at least 50% battery.

Smaller new features with iOS 14.3 include the option to set Ecosia as the default search engine on iPhone and iPad, air quality health recommendations in Weather and ‌Siri‌ for the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, India, and Mexico at certain air quality levels, support for launching App Clips by scanning Apple-designed App Clip Codes via the Camera or from Control Center, and the ability to mirror the front facing camera for still photos on ‌iPhone‌ 6s, ‌iPhone‌ 6s Plus, iPhone SE, ‌iPhone‌ 7, ‌iPhone‌ 7 Plus, ‌iPhone‌ 8, ‌iPhone‌ 8 Plus, and ‌iPhone‌ X, and much more.
