Apple’s slimmed down iPhone 11 box has surfaced in a new video, offering a glimpse at the device’s updated packaging following the removal of the perviously included wired EarPods headphones and power adapter.
Shared by DuanRui (@duanrui1205) on Twitter, the video shows just how thin the iPhone box has become following the removal of the accessories, a move which Apple claims will allow them to put 70% more products on one shipping pallet, helping reduce carbon emissions as the company works towards its goal to have net zero climate impact across the entire business by 2030.
Apple has now removed wired headphones and the power adapter from its entire iPhone line, including the iPhone 11, iPhone XR, and iPhone SE. Customers who require the accessories can purchase them from Apple.com, with the pricing being lowered to soften the blow.
