Jon Prosser again suggests Apple launching new products on Tuesday

Prolific leaker Jon Prosser last month shared what he claimed to be a roadmap of Apple’s release schedule for the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, next-generation Apple Watch Series 6, and new iPad models.

The dates shared by Prosser claimed Apple would publish a press release next week (week 37) to announce new iPad and Apple Watch hardware, and today in a follow-up Prosser has said Apple’s “press release is currently scheduled for Tuesday (September 8) at 9:00am EST.”

Despite him doing so previously, Prosser today hasn’t confirmed which products he believes will be announced next week, with reports suggesting Apple may hold off from announcing the Apple Watch Series 6 until October, likely saving the announcements for an event for the launch of the 2020 iPhone lineup.

We got a glimpse of what is believed to be Apple’s forthcoming iPad Air 4 at the end of August, with a leak showing supposed instructions for the upgraded iPad, suggesting the new device will feature a full-screen display, Touch ID power button, USB-C, and more.

The leak came just after filings discovered in the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) database revealed that Apple has several new iPad models in the works.

The rumored new Apple Watch Series 6 is expected to be a relatively minor update, with the wearable gaining an improved battery for watchOS 7’s new sleep tracking features, improved ECG functions, and an enabled blood-oxygen sensor.
