Apple allowing Apple Card customers to skip March payment without interest

Apple is informing Apple Card holders should they need financial assistance due to the coronavirus pandemic, they can join a relief program that will allow them to skip their March payment without incurring interest charges for that billing cycle.

The continuing spread of coronavirus has meant many businesses are being forced to close, leaving some out of work and without their usual financial income, making it difficult to repay credit card bills.

To join the Customer Assistance Program, customer must contact Apple Support to arrange for the March payment interest to be skipped.

The announcement follows after Apple confirmed it was closing all of its 464 Apple Stores outside of Greater China until March 27 as a coronavirus precaution. The company is encouraging corporate employees to work from home and take as much absence as required to avoid the spread of the virus.
