Apple has released Apple Watch Series 3 and Apple Watch Series 5 models with cellular connectivity in New Zealand, with local carrier Spark offering a new wearable plan that allows customers to share minutes and texts from their plan and get unlimited data on the Watch.
The release of the cellular-equipped models sees Apple sell the Apple Watch Series 3 from NZ$549, and the Apple Watch Series 5 from NZ$929.
Other New Zealand carriers such as Vodafone NZ and 2degrees have said they are working to bring eSIM support to customers, although no date has been given for when that will happen.
