Apple creates new @AppleCard account on Twitter

After announcing that Apple Card is now available to all customers across the United States, Apple has now launched a new @AppleCard account on Twitter to share Apple Card news and updates.

Apple Card, the “new kind of credit card” created by Apple in partnership with Goldman Sachs, allows users to track and manage their spending through the Wallet app on iOS.

Speaking within a press release shared to the Apple Newsroom on Tuesday, Jennifer Bailey, Apple’s vice president of Apple Pay said: “We’re thrilled with the overwhelming interest in Apple Card and its positive reception,”. “Customers have told us they love Apple Card’s simplicity and how it gives them a better view of their spending.”

The new @AppleCard Twitter handle was created in April, shortly after Apple unveil Apple Card alongside Apple TV+ and Apple Arcade at a March event at Apple Park. Only now has Apple branded the account and received verification from Twitter.
