Alleged iOS 13 screenshots leak, showing Dark Mode, new Find My app, and more

Less than a week away from the official reveal of iOS 13, new screenshots allegedly give us our first glimpse at the next-generation software.

Shared by 9to5Mac.com, the images show the Music app in Dark Mode, hiding the “notch” with a pure black background and a mix of red and white text.

The report claims Dark Mode can be enabled via the Settings app or via an option in Control Center. Though the screenshots don’t show it, iOS 13 will likely include new Wallpapers that add to the Dark Mode effect. On the Home Screen, Dark Mode can only really be seen in the Dock, and when a user uses Markup to edit a screenshot, for example.

In addition to allegedly showing Dark Mode on iOS, the leak claims to show the icon for Apple’s rumured “Find My” app that combines Find My iPhone and Find my Friends into one singular service, with reports suggesting Apple will add to Find My by offering an all-new Tile-like physical item tracker to be clipped to items such as car keys and wallets, and then tracked via the interconnected tracking app.

Finally, the site goes on to share a screenshot showing what appears to be a redesigned Reminders application for iPad. The app has a large sideboard with boxes for “Today”, “Scheduled”, “Flagged” and “All”, with a number count of how many reminders have been added under those categories.

The app uses the SF UI Rounded font, seen within the Wallet app as of iOS 12.2.
