Apple Park drone flyover shows mysterious new stage in center of campus

Stunning new Apple Park drone footage shows Apple’s breathtaking Cupertino campus in all its glory, revealing a mysterious rainbow arch stage and outdoor lighting in the center of the spaceship-like loop.

Drone footage was coming in thick and fast as construction was underway on the new head quarters, however nearing completion Apple enforced a no-fly policy over the campus, with a team of security guards dispatched wherever a drone was sighted to stop pilots from capturing footage of the site.

One unlucky pilot managed to get their drone stuck on the roof of the Apple Park building early last year, with images showing a lone stranded drone wedged between the building’s solar panels. Since the ban, new drone footage has been hard to find, but longtime pilot Duncan Sinfield has broken the dry spell with new HD video from the site.

Sinfield’s footage not only shows a mysterious new stage in the center of the large campus, it also shows how far the company has come since construction started on the former Hewlett-Packard site.

The main building appears too have all surrounding landscaping complete, and the footage shows the numerous completed outer buildings such as the Steve Jobs Theater. Trees can be seen across the site, and Apple’s large central pond sits perfectly next to the surrounding shrubbery.

Apple often hosts events for employees, so the combination of the stage and large outdoor lighting hints a special employee-only beer bash or live performance will be taking place soon.
