‘iPhone xx’ references discovered in Xcode 10

We should see invites go out for Apple’s Fall event any week now and it seems like we might be adding another iPhone device to the lineup.

iOS developer, Gui Rambo, has discovered a reference to an unreleased “iPhone xx” inside of Xcode. We don’t expect that the company will release an iPhone xx (or iPhone 20), but rather it just being a name holder for a different device.

Rambo discloses that the processor associated with iPhone xx is the A10. This is the same chip used in the two-year old iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. This leads many to believe that this could simply be a cheaper to produce version iPhone 7. Only time will tell.
