Apple is introducing a new ‘Friends Mix’ feature within Apple Music that updates every Monday and shows 25 songs that your friends are listening to in an aim to ramp up the significance of the social features introduced to the app with iOS 11.
The new ‘Friends Mix’ can be found in the “For You” tab within the Apple Music app. Apple appears to be in the early stages of rolling the feature out (without the need of an iOS software update), however; an increasing amount of people are reporting the new playlist showing on their iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.
‘Friends Mix’ is also coming to iTunes on the Mac. Apple Music subscribers can ask Siri to ‘play your Friends Mix’ on HomePod too. The mix joins the Favorites mix, Chill mix and New Music mix algorithmic collections on the service.
