Apple looks to trademark its Apple Park ring logo

Apple sells multiple items at its new Apple Park HQ in Cupertino. Their merchandise ranges from bags to t-shirts that will let visitor’s showcase they’ve visited Apple Park. Now, Apple is looking to try and trademark the Apple Park ring.

As mentioned in the patent, they aren’t just looking to trademark the ring, but rather “a design comprised of concentric circles above a design of an apple with a bite removed and the word “Park” (as seen in the picture above). In a typical Apple fashion, the first trademark application was filed in Jamaica as it’s very hard to search by applicant. This brings Apple just the privacy they want.

Apple’s filings can be seen below:

035: “retail store services; product demonstrations provided in-store; arranging and conducting of commercial, trade, and business conferences, shows, and exhibitions.”

041: “education services, namely, conducting classes, workshops, and seminars in the field of computers, computer software, online services, information technology, internet website design, music, photography and video products and consumer electronics; Education services, namely, arranging professional workshop and training courses; computer education training services; training in the use and operation of computers, computer software and consumer electronics; arranging, organizing, conducting, and presenting concerts, live performances, and entertainment special events; conducting guided tours.”

043: “restaurant services.”

A second trademark filing was also submitted to cover clothing, “tote bags; sports and athletic bags; all-purpose carrying bags; backpacks; business card cases.”
