Apple releases new “Three Minutes” short film, fully shot on iPhone X for Chinese New Year

Apple has today released a heart touching short film for Chinese New Year. The film, which is shot entirely on iPhone X, tells the story of a mom who has a young son. She seems to work frequently on the city’s train service and her sister takes care of her son. At the end, Apple tells us that “every minute of a reunion is worth saving.”

Apple goes on to describe the video saying “If your family reunion only lasts three minutes, what will you do? A unique Chinese New Year story shot on iPhone X by director Peter Chan.” Chinese New Year has been promoted world wide by the Cupertino firm this year. At the beginning of January Apple announced a Chinese New Year promotion offering a free pair of Beats Solo3’s with a Mac or iPhone purchase. The company’s Clips app has has been updated with a new poster for the Chinese New Year.
