4 iPhone apps I couldn’t live without…

Trainline

One of the apps I rely upon the most is undoubtedly Trainline, the most downloaded train travel app in Great Britain. Trainline allows users to search live train timetables and purchase tickets with just a couple of taps either online or through their iPhone app. – The killer Trainline feature for me though is the integration of Apple Pay when purchasing mobile tickets; the app alleviates the need to carry paper train tickets, with all your booking information, either that be seat reservations or rail discount cards, shown on-screen in the My Tickets tab. When asked for a ticket by a conductor or at a ticket barrier you can simply show your mobile ticket and carry on with your journey, it’s as simple as that.

Trainline is a free to download app which includes Apple Watch and iMessage sticker integration. – You can download the app here…

Monzo

Monzo is a relatively new app to me, but already it’s an app I can’t see myself living without. Monzo is the bank of the future, their mobile platform is banking like never before. Not only does Monzo integrate with Siri so you can shout “Hey Siri, pay Deanna £10” and send money in an instant, Monzo tracks your spending and gives you detailed spending reports so you can easily see how your money is being spent.

One of the things I love about Monzo the most is that the app shows your recent spending activity with precise detailing. For example; you can see the logo of the store you purchased an item from, their address, an average amount spent if you are a returning customer and an overall total for lifetime spending in that particular location.

Sonos

It’s no secret I’m a Sonos fanatic, and the Sonos controller for iOS is most certainly up with the top 4 iPhone apps I couldn’t live without. For those who don’t know, Sonos is an American based audio company specialising in smart speakers; their wireless audio powerhouses amerce your chosen room with surprisingly deep bass and rich, clear sound.

The Sonos app for iOS allows you to control your speakers, as a group if you have a couple placed around your home or individually. Sonos works with all the major music streaming companies, including Apple Music, Spotify and Deezer as well as linking to the Music app on your iPhone to play audio you’ve already purchased from iTunes.

Google Analytics

As a website owner Google Analytics is the app I rely upon the most, it’s the first thing I check in the morning and the last thing I do at night. If you are unfamiliar with Google Analytics it’s a tool that allows website owners and marketers to track the flow of traffic visiting their website. The app allows users to quickly access reports and view data such as the amount of Real Time active visitors that are viewing your website at that precise second as well as overview reports, data which shows how well your website is performing day to day, month to month or year to year.

Google Analytics is free to download and doesn’t require website owners to have a paid Google subscription. – You can download the app here…
