Reports suggest Apple won’t release a new iMac or 5K Display at next weeks event

With Apple’s “Hello Again” event only days away; a new report from the reliable KGI Securities analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, has suggested that although new hardware may debut at the upcoming Keynote, it’s uncertain if a refreshed iMac or new 5K stand-alone Display will ship this year, with Apple reportedly not in a position to ship the two new devices.

According to Kuo and following in-line with the reports surfacing upon the internet, Apple’s event will be mainly focused on a redesigned MacBook Pro, with Apple introducing a brand new OLED touch bar and Touch ID sensor to the portable powerhouse. The refreshed MacBook Pro will remain in two screen sizes, 13-inch and 15-inch, and will be supported by Intel’s Skylake processor.

Kuo has also suggested Apple will introduce a new 13-inch stand-alone Macbook, with the 13-inch MacBook Air seeing a small update with new USB-C ports.
