Apple says it expects the December quarter to become the biggest revenue quarter in the company’s history, setting the stage for another record as its newest iPhone, Mac, iPad and smart home products head into the holiday season.
Speaking during Apple’s fiscal Q4 2026 earnings call, CFO Kevan Parekh said the company expects total revenue to grow between 7% and 10% year over year during the December quarter. Apple’s current all-time quarterly revenue record is $143.8 billion, set during the 2025 holiday quarter.
Applying Apple’s guidance to that previous record would put December-quarter revenue at roughly $153.9 billion to $158.2 billion, although Apple does not provide a precise revenue forecast. The outlook comes immediately after Apple reported $114.5 billion in Q4 revenue, up 12% year over year.
The holiday quarter will include a much broader range of newly launched products than Apple’s September-quarter results. iPhone Duo launched on October 23, while Apple’s new M6 iMac, M6 14-inch MacBook Pro, touchscreen PROLED XDR MacBook Pro models and OLED iPad mini begin arriving on November 6.
One week later, Apple HomeView and the new Apple TV 4K launch on November 13, giving Apple several entirely new or substantially redesigned products on sale during its most important shopping period of the year.
Apple is forecasting the record despite warning that supply remains constrained. Mac and iPad availability is expected to remain under pressure during the December quarter, while iPhone Duo is also still difficult to find in stock. Apple says it cannot yet predict when iPhone Duo supply will catch up with demand.
Apple’s latest guidance also comes after an unusually strong fiscal 2026, with full-year revenue reaching $478.8 billion and earnings per share climbing to a record $8.98. A December quarter at the top end of Apple’s current outlook would push the company comfortably beyond its previous quarterly sales record.
