Apple has released a revised build of tvOS 27.2 ahead of the fourth-generation Apple TV 4K arriving later this month.
The updated build comes after Apple released tvOS 27.2 on October 26, bringing new Apple TV features including four-HomePod surround sound support alongside other improvements.
Apple has now issued another tvOS 27.2 build as it prepares for the launch of its latest Apple TV hardware. Apple has not detailed any user-facing changes in the revised software, suggesting the update is likely focused on compatibility, bug fixes, or launch-day preparation for the new model.
The fourth-generation Apple TV 4K launches on Friday, November 13 with the A19 chip, Siri AI, built-in far-field microphones, a new Siri Remote with Precision Finding, and support for a four-speaker HomePod surround sound setup.
Pre-orders for the new Apple TV 4K are already open, with pricing set at $299 in the United States and £299 in the United Kingdom.
Apple has not labeled the revised software as tvOS 27.2.1, meaning it remains part of the existing tvOS 27.2 release rather than a separate point update.
