Apple HomeView Wall Mounted costs $299 — but the mount is sold separately

Apple’s new HomeView Wall Mounted costs the same $299 as the tabletop HomeView, but there is an extra cost hidden in the setup: the wall mount itself is sold separately.

Apple says the wall-mounted HomeView works with three purpose-built mounts from Schneider Home. The cheapest option, the Power Mount USB-C Wall Connector, starts at $59.95 in the U.S., meaning the minimum cost of a complete wall-mounted HomeView setup is $358.95 before tax.

A second Power Mount AC Wired option costs $79.95, taking the total to $378.95. A Power Mount PoE Wired model will follow in early 2027 for $129.95, bringing that configuration to $428.95.

The $299 HomeView Wall Mounted does not include a mount

That distinction matters because Apple lists both the tabletop HomeView and HomeView Wall Mounted at $299. While the tabletop model includes its own speaker base and can be placed on a counter or table immediately, the wall-mounted version requires one of the separate Schneider Home accessories to actually attach it to a wall.

The Apple Post has already compared the differences between HomeView and HomeView Wall Mounted, including their designs, speakers and color options. The separate mounting cost makes price another important difference once the complete setup is taken into account.

Apple says the wall-mounted version offers the same 7-inch Liquid Retina display and core HomeView features as the tabletop model, with audio tuned specifically for on-wall placement. It is available in silver and space gray.

HomeView pre-orders are open now

HomeView and HomeView Wall Mounted are available to pre-order now in the U.S., UK and several other markets, with both models launching on November 13. The Apple Post has a full guide to HomeView pricing, colors and availability.

The USB-C and AC Wired Schneider Home mounts can also be ordered now in the U.S., while the PoE Wired version is scheduled for early 2027.
