Apple has released a new AT&T carrier settings update for iPhone 18 Pro Max users running the iOS 27.2 beta, extending recent network changes to devices testing the upcoming software update.
The update moves affected iPhone 18 Pro Max devices from carrier bundle version 72.0.2 to 72.0.3, according to Aaron Perris, who spotted the rollout on Friday.
It follows a separate carrier update released for iPhones on the public version of iOS 27 after a cellular issue caused a small number of AT&T customers to lose calls, messages and mobile data on the iPhone 18 Pro Max.
Devices running the iOS 27.2 beta had remained on the older 72.0.2 carrier bundle while iPhone 18 Pro Max models on iOS 27.0 received version 72.1. The new 72.0.3 release brings Apple’s more recent AT&T network changes to beta testers.
Apple previously confirmed that devices which have already lost service require a hardware replacement. The carrier settings changes are intended to prevent unaffected devices from developing the same problem rather than restore service after the failure has occurred.
The issue has so far been associated with the iPhone 18 Pro Max on AT&T, making the latest carrier bundle particularly relevant to owners enrolled in Apple’s iOS 27.2 beta program.
