Apple’s latest Mac mini and Mac Studio models are now available, with same-day pickup offered at many Apple Store locations as the new desktops officially launch.
The new Mac mini is available with M6 or M5 Pro, while Mac Studio comes with M5 Max or M5 Ultra. Apple first announced the refreshed desktops in August, with availability beginning September 22.
Customers can check local pickup availability through the Apple Store online, although stock will vary by store and configuration. Custom configurations with upgraded specifications generally require delivery rather than same-day pickup.
Mac mini with M6 starts at $899 in the United States and £899 in the United Kingdom, while the M5 Pro model starts at $1,699. The new Mac Studio starts at $2,499 in the United States and £2,499 in the United Kingdom with M5 Max, while M5 Ultra starts at $5,499 in the United States and £5,499 in the United Kingdom.
Beyond the chip upgrades, the new Mac mini adds Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6 and upgraded 2.5Gb Ethernet as standard. M6 is Apple’s first 2-nanometer chip and features a 12-core CPU, 12-core GPU and Dual 16-core Neural Engine.
Mac Studio targets considerably heavier professional workloads, with the M5 Ultra configuration supporting up to 512GB of unified memory. Apple describes M5 Ultra as its most powerful chip to date.
Both Macs ship with macOS 27 and are available through Apple’s online store and retail locations in launch markets.
