Apple Music Radio’s London-based hosts and shows are moving into new studios at Battersea Power Station as Apple expands its music operations at its U.K. headquarters.
The new radio studios form part of the wider Apple Music Hall project, which also includes a 600-capacity concert venue, professional recording and mixing rooms and broadcast production facilities.
Apple says its London Apple Music Radio output will broadcast live from Battersea, placing the company’s radio presenters, artist interviews and live performances in the same complex.
The move gives Apple Music a purpose-built London base rather than treating its radio, live performance and recording operations as separate facilities.

Zane Lowe, Apple Music’s global creative director and lead anchor for Apple Music 1, said the company is continually looking for new ways to connect artists and fans, describing Apple Music Hall as a place where “great music and memories will be made.”
The studios have been designed to support intimate conversations between artists and presenters while also accommodating live performances, adding another potential source of video and audio content from Battersea.
Apple Music Hall sits inside the same historic power station that has housed Apple’s U.K. headquarters since 2023. Apple’s Battersea offices span around 500,000 square feet across six floors.
The company also operates Apple Battersea on the ground floor, meaning the site now brings together Apple’s corporate workforce, retail presence, radio output and a dedicated live music venue.
That concentration is particularly significant for Apple Music. An artist could potentially visit the same site for a radio interview, perform in front of 600 fans, record the show in Spatial Audio and produce multicamera video without leaving the Apple complex.
Apple has not yet announced the first full slate of programming from the new radio studios, but the move establishes Battersea as the permanent home for Apple Music Radio’s London output.
