Apple’s rumored foldable iPhone Duo could be difficult to get hold of when it launches, with a new report suggesting production constraints may limit the number of devices available during its initial rollout.
Analyst Jeff Pu has reportedly lowered his forecast for iPhone Duo shipments in 2026 from around 7 million units to approximately 6 million, citing production constraints associated with the device’s hinge.
The reduction suggests Apple could face tight supplies of its first foldable iPhone around launch, particularly if early demand for the new form factor is strong.
The iPhone Duo is expected to use a book-style folding design, giving users a larger internal display while retaining a more conventional smartphone screen on the outside. The device is expected to represent one of Apple’s biggest changes to the iPhone lineup in years.
