The control affects Liquid Glass throughout iOS, including interface elements such as notifications, folders, menus and Control Center. Changes are previewed as you adjust the setting, making it easy to find a level that works with your wallpaper and display preferences.
You can make Liquid Glass clearer to reveal more of the content behind it or increase the tint for a more opaque appearance and stronger separation between interface elements.
How to adjust Liquid Glass in iOS 27
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Tap Appearance.
- Select Liquid Glass.
- Move the slider toward the clearer end for greater transparency, or toward the tinted end for a more opaque effect.
- Watch the preview as you move the slider and leave it at your preferred position. The change is applied automatically.
