Apple has released visionOS 27 for Apple Vision Pro, bringing Siri AI, expanded Apple Intelligence capabilities and new ways to create and experience spatial content.

The free update is available to compatible Apple Vision Pro users through Settings > General > Software Update.

Siri AI is a major part of visionOS 27. Apple’s new assistant supports more natural conversations, richer responses and personal context, and users can place a visualization of Siri within their space and speak to the assistant by looking toward it.

A new dedicated Siri app keeps conversations with Siri AI together, while the assistant can take actions in apps including Messages, Music and Reminders based on what the user is doing.

Apple Intelligence is also expanding throughout visionOS, including new Image Playground capabilities and tools designed around spatial computing.

visionOS 27 introduces the ability to transform panoramic photographs into spatial scenes that can be used as personal Environments, giving existing images a new sense of depth when viewed through Apple Vision Pro.

The update follows months of testing after Apple previewed visionOS 27 at WWDC26. A Release Candidate was issued last week ahead of today’s public rollout.
