Apple’s September 9 event is expected to deliver one of the company’s biggest product launches of the year, but Wednesday’s announcements may only be the beginning of another busy stretch for Apple.
While attention is currently focused on the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max and Apple’s first foldable iPhone, reports suggest Apple has a lengthy roadmap of additional products planned between the remainder of 2026 and early 2027.
Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has outlined a collection of products expected over the coming months, with at least 14 devices reportedly in Apple’s pipeline beyond the immediate September event, as reported by MacRumors.
Among the products reportedly on the way are refreshed versions of Apple TV and HomePod mini. Apple has also been developing a new smart home hub, although recent reports suggest some of its more ambitious home products could now slip into 2027 as Apple continues work on its next-generation Siri and artificial intelligence features.
The iPad lineup is also expected to receive attention. Reports have pointed to a future iPad mini with an OLED display and upgraded chip, alongside other changes Apple has been developing for its tablet range.
Mac users could have plenty to watch for as well. Apple has already refreshed parts of the Mac lineup this year, but further models are expected into early 2027. Reports have included new MacBook Pro models with OLED displays and future updates across Apple’s notebook range.
Apple’s lower-priced iPhone lineup is then expected to become a major part of the company’s early-2027 product schedule. For the first time, Apple is not expected to unveil a standard iPhone 18 alongside its Pro models in September. Instead, the iPhone 18, iPhone 18e and iPhone Air 2 are widely expected around spring 2027.
That split effectively turns Apple’s traditional once-a-year iPhone launch into two major release windows. The Apple Post has previously reported on Apple’s expected move to separate its premium and more affordable iPhone launches, giving the Pro models and new foldable more room during the crucial holiday period.
Wednesday should still be packed. Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 18 Pro lineup, iPhone Ultra, Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4 and AirPods 5, with the possibility of additional announcements.
But anyone expecting Apple’s product calendar to quieten down once the September event finishes may not have long to wait. The current roadmap points to a steady flow of hardware extending through the end of the year and into early 2027, with Apple’s spring iPhone launch potentially becoming the next major milestone.
