Apple is adding a new AI-powered editing feature called Spatial Reframing to the Photos app in iOS 27.
The feature allows users to alter the composition and perspective of a photo after it has been captured. By moving and adjusting an image, Apple Intelligence generates new content around the edges where needed to create a natural-looking result.
Apple says the technology builds on work originally developed for Apple Vision Pro and is designed to make photos appear as though they were framed differently when originally taken.
