The Apple Post app updated with Liquid Glass design, new icon, improved iPad experience and more
The Apple Post app has received a major update on the App Store, introducing support for iOS 26’s Liquid Glass design, a refreshed app icon, an improved experience on iPad, adjustable text sizing, and new audio playback features that allow users to listen to articles directly within the app.
The update — available to download now — also adds several highly requested features, including a read-time indicator showing how long an article will take to read, visible publish dates, and a quick option to copy an article’s link for easy sharing.
A new swipe gesture has been added to make managing bookmarks faster and more intuitive. Users can now swipe on any story to add or remove it from their saved articles, which can be accessed at any time — including offline.
A number of fixes and performance improvements are included too. The latest version resolves an issue where the Home Screen widget would fail to display images when using the Clear or Tinted Liquid Glass appearances, and addresses a bug that could prevent notifications from being delivered after updating the app.
