Apple’s new Center Stage front camera enables ultra-stabilised video recording in 4K HDR across the iPhone 17 range, including the iPhone 17, iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max.
For the first time, users can record using the front and rear cameras simultaneously with Dual Capture — letting them film themselves and the world around them at the same time.
Apple says the feature is designed for travel, events and content creation, offering more flexible storytelling.
During FaceTime calls — and in supported third-party apps — Center Stage keeps users steady in frame, automatically adjusting to maintain a natural, centered look even if they move.
The line-up includes the iPhone 17, iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max.
All four models are available to pre-order from Friday, September 12, with deliveries starting Friday, September 19.
