Apple opens new Apple Store in Osaka, Japan

Apple has officially opened the doors to Apple Umeda, its latest retail store located in the heart of Osaka, Japan.
“I am very pleased to open Apple Umeda, a wonderful space that reflects the energy of the vibrant city of Osaka. This new store is a place to walk with creative communities and local businesses in Kansai. The store team is sincerely looking forward to deepening the connection with customers and delivering the appeal of Apple’s products and services,” said Deirdre O’Brien, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Retail and People.
The store showcases Apple’s full product lineup, including iPhone, Mac, iPad, AirPods, and Apple TV, as well as accessories like HomePod mini and AirTag. Apple Umeda also features an exclusive Apple Vision Pro try-on experience, giving customers a firsthand look at Apple’s most advanced spatial computing device.
The Genius Bar has been reimagined with a newly designed counter, and a dedicated Apple Pickup area offers added convenience for customers placing online orders.
Accessibility and inclusion are central to the store’s layout. Varying table and chair heights, wide walkways for wheelchair access, and portable hearing assistance devices ensure a welcoming experience for all visitors. At the Today at Apple table, assistive hearing tools are available to support inclusive learning during creative sessions.
Apple Umeda, like all Apple locations worldwide, is powered by 100% renewable energy.
