Apple expands AppleCare+ Theft and Loss protection beyond iPhone

With today’s announcement of the new AppleCare One bundle, Apple is expanding its AppleCare+ Theft and Loss coverage beyond the iPhone for the first time. Now, customers can protect their iPad and Apple Watch against theft and loss under this new monthly plan.

The AppleCare One bundle covers up to three devices for $19.99 per month, with the option to add additional devices at $5.99 each.

In addition to the bundle, Apple is introducing standalone AppleCare+ Theft and Loss plans for the iPad and Apple Watch—also a first.

Enrollment starts tomorrow in the U.S., with customers able to sign up directly from their iPhone, iPad, or Mac, or by visiting an Apple Store.
