Second-generation Apple Vision Pro with M4 chip could launch this year

Apple may launch a second-generation Apple Vision Pro as soon as later this year, featuring an upgraded processor, according to reports.
Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has revealed that the updated Vision Pro will include a faster processor and enhanced components designed to better support artificial intelligence tasks. Sources familiar with the matter, who requested anonymity because the plans have not been officially announced, also mentioned that the new headset will feature an updated strap for improved comfort during extended wear.
Despite the hype surrounding the original Vision Pro, sales of the device have reportedly been lackluster. Early demand was lower than expected, and the high price point has limited its adoption. Apple’s slow start with the first model has fueled speculation that the company is aiming to refine the product and boost its appeal with the second-generation release.
The updated Vision Pro could be released alongside the upcoming visionOS 26 operating system later this year.
