M5 iPad Pro slated to launch in October

Apple is gearing up to launch its next-generation iPad Pro in October, with suppliers Samsung Display and LG Display reportedly beginning mass production of the device’s new display panels.
According to ZDNet Korea (via MacRumors), both suppliers will manufacture 11-inch and 13-inch panels for the upcoming models. This marks a shift from last year’s production strategy, where Samsung was responsible for the 11-inch panels and LG produced the 13-inch versions.
The new iPad Pro, powered by Apple’s M5 chip, is expected to be a relatively modest update over the current M4 model. The M5 chip will be manufactured using TSMC’s advanced 3-nanometer process, promising improved performance and energy efficiency. However, aside from the upgraded chip, no major hardware changes are anticipated.
One subtle design tweak may be in the works: rumors suggest that the Apple logo on the back of the device could adopt a landscape orientation, reflecting Apple’s increasing emphasis on using the iPad Pro as a laptop alternative.
