Apple expanding Self Service Repair to Canada this summer

Apple says that this summer it will bring its Self Service Repair program to Canada, giving Canadian customers the option to purchase genuine Apple parts, tools, and repair manuals directly from Apple for at-home DIY fixes.
First introduced in 2022, Self Service Repair was designed for users comfortable handling their own device repairs. Through the program, consumers gain access to the exact same repair guides, replacement components, and specialized tools that Apple Store technicians and Authorized Service Providers use.
The online Self Service Repair Store currently supports 65 different Apple devices, ranging from iPhone models (including the latest iPhone 16e) to Macs like the MacBook Air and Mac Studio. This summer’s expansion means that Canadians will soon be able to order parts for any of these supported devices directly through Apple.
For iPhone and iPad, Apple offers key repair components such as displays, batteries, and charging ports. Mac owners can source a broader array of parts—including speaker screws, flex cables, bottom cases, displays, hinge covers, and more.
Apple’s Self Service Repair program is currently available across 33 countries and regions, including Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
