Apple releases iOS 18.5 with Mail app updates, new wallpaper, bug fixes, more

Apple has released iOS 18.5, bringing updates to the Mail app, a new Pride Harmony wallpaper, a bug fix for an issue where the Apple Vision Pro app may display a black screen, and more.
Available now alongside the release of macOS Sequoia 15.5 and watchOS 11.5, iOS 18.5 can be downloaded on eligible iPhones and iPads over-the-air by going to Settings → General → Software Update.
With iOS 18.5, Screen Time now notifies parents when a Screen Time passcode is used on a child’s device, adding more visibility for parental controls. The update also includes support for carrier-provided satellite features on iPhone 13 models, enhancing connectivity options for those devices.
Additionally, iOS 18.5 adds a new toggle hides the new contact photos design in the Mail app.
