Apple giving away limited-edition pin badge at Apple Stores on April 24

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Activity rings on Apple Watch, Apple will mark “Global Close Your Rings Day” on April 24 by giving away free limited-edition pin badges at Apple Store locations worldwide — while supplies last.
Announced Monday, Apple said: “To celebrate Global Close Your Rings Day, customers can obtain a special pin inspired by the award. Customers can pick up a pin at Apple Store locations worldwide starting April 24, while supplies last.”
The commemorative pins are styled like the virtual award earned through the Apple Watch Activity Challenge, which encourages users to stay active by closing their Move, Exercise, and Stand rings each day.
Apple Watch users who close their rings on April 24 will also earn a special in-app award and animated stickers for Messages, available exclusively on that day.
The Apple Post has shared a mockup of what the limited-edition pin may look like.
Apple has a history of celebrating major events with collectible pins. During the London 2012 Olympics, for example, Apple gave away pins resembling miniature iPhones and iPads with with the Union Jack at select UK stores.
