Apple has launched a new app called Invites, designed to help users create and manage event invitations.
The app, which was previously rumoured to debut this week, allows users to customise invitations by selecting a background from their photo library or using an emoji design. It also enables hosts to track RSVPs, see who is attending, and create a Shared Album linked to the event.
Apple says Invites makes it easy to keep guests informed, with features such as event updates and the ability to post messages for invitees. Invitations can be shared via links, streamlining the process for both organisers and attendees.
The app is available for free on the App Store but requires an iCloud+ subscription, which starts at $0.99 per month.
