Apple is expected to host a special event on September 10, where it will likely unveil the new iPhone 16 and Apple Watch Series 10.

Ahead of the rumored event, stock levels for certain accessories have begun to dwindle. In particular, FineWoven cases for the iPhone 15 and Apple Watch bands made of the same material are becoming increasingly scarce in Apple Stores worldwide, fueling speculation about the future of these products.

Reports from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman indicate that inventory of FineWoven accessories is “extremely low” across multiple locations, with many items listed as “currently unavailable” for online orders. These reports have also been collaborated by 9to5Mac.

Earlier rumors suggested that Apple might have stopped producing new FineWoven accessories due to widespread criticism over their durability. In fact, Amazon has even added alerts on its site, warning potential buyers that these items are frequently returned. Despite this, some sources hinted that Apple might attempt to release another “season” of FineWoven products with the upcoming devices.

Given the ongoing issues, it wouldn’t be surprising if FineWoven cases and bands disappear altogether after the September event. Earlier this year, Apple introduced new colors for its silicone accessories, but the FineWoven range remained unchanged, perhaps signaling the end of the line for these products.
