Ahead of pre-orders beginning for the Apple Vision Pro on Friday, code found in the latest version of the Apple Store app has revealed that during the order process for the new headset, the app will take a facial scan of the customer to determine the correct head band and Light Seal size to ship with the device.

As reported by MacRumors, who found references to the new facial scanning method within the code of the Apple Store app, the pre-order process will involve a user going through a fitting process, where the customer’s face is scanned so that Apple can include a correct fitting head band and Light Seal in the box of the device when it ships.

According to Apple, Apple Vision Pro will come with a Solo Knit Band and Dual Loop Band — giving users two options for the fit that works best for them. The headset will also come packaged with a Light Seal, two Light Seal Cushions, an Apple Vision Pro Cover for the front of the device, Polishing Cloth, Battery, USB-C Charge Cable, and USB-C Power Adapter.

Apple Vision Pro will be available for pre-order in the US on January 19, with in-store availability beginning on February 2.
