Apple now selling refurbished 2023 HomePod with $50 off

Apple has started to sell the second-generation HomePod through its Certified Refurbished online store in over 10 countries around the world including the United States, United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and others.

As spotted by MacRumors, the 2023 HomePod models are now available with $50 off, available for $249, down from $299, equalling a discount of approximately 15% compared to a brand new model.

Apple says the refurbished HomePods undergo full functionality testing and any defective modules identified in testing are replaced. The speaker is put through a thorough cleaning process and inspection and is repackaged (including appropriate manuals, cables, new boxes).

Originally released February 2023, the device features enhanced Siri capabilities, support for Spatial Audio, the S7 chip, and more. The HomePod includes a four-inch high-excursion woofer, five tweeters, four microphones, computational audio, and support for Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos.
