Apple will roll out a software update to address recent radiation concerns raised by the ANFR, the national frequency agency that manages all radio frequencies in France.

In response, Reuters has reported that the iPhone maker is preparing a forthcoming software update for the iPhone 12 in France which aims to relieve the concerns by the French agency, who threatened Apple with a forced recall should the software update not resolve the issue.
Apple first sold the iPhone 12 in France in 2020, with the device certified by multiple international bodies as compliant with global standards prior to its launch. Apple has rejected the French agency’s findings, saying it has provided independent third-party lab results proving its compliance with all applicable regulations and standards around the world, although it will roll out a software update to resolve the concerns to please the national agency.
