15-inch MacBook Air again expected to be unveiled at WWDC23 in June

Apple’s long-rumored 15-inch MacBook Air is once again expected to be announced at WWDC23 in June, where Apple will announce iOS 17, iPadOS 17, watchOS 10, and macOS 14, in addition to its long-rumored AR/VR mixed-reality headset.

In a research note on Friday, investment firm Morgan Stanley told clients that Apple supplier Quanta Computer is expected to see growth in the number of notebooks it assembles in the second quarter of 2023, compared to the first quarter, noting how this is likely because of the forthcoming machine.

The insight follows after it was reported that in preparation for the machine’s launch, Apple is now holding large amounts of stock with suppliers to ensure adequate availability at launch, which will see Apple offer two MacBook Air models for the first time in several years

The design of the new 15-inch MacBook Air isn’t expected to dramatically change compared to the current 13.6-inch model that Apple announced last year, featuring a Liquid Retina display, 1080p HD camera, MagSafe charging, and more in four new finishes — midnight, starlight, silver, and space gray.

It is rumored that the new 15-inch MacBook Air will feature the same 2M chip found in the smaller 13.6-inch model
