Apple suppliers reportedly stockpiling new 15-inch MacBook Air ahead of WWDC23 debut

Apple suppliers are reportedly stockpiling the iPhone maker’s unannounced 15-inch MacBook Air ahead of the machine’s debut at WWDC23 in June, according to sources cited by DigiTimes (via MacRumors).
It is understood that in preparation for the machine’s launch, Apple is now holding large amounts of stock with suppliers to ensure adequate availability at launch, which will see Apple offer two MacBook Air models for the first time in several years.
The design of the new 15-inch MacBook Air isn’t expected to dramatically change compared to the current 13.6-inch model that Apple announced last year, featuring a Liquid Retina display, 1080p HD camera, MagSafe charging, and more in four new finishes — midnight, starlight, silver, and space gray.
It is rumored that the new 15-inch MacBook Air will feature the same 2M chip found in the smaller 13.6-inch model.
