Apple has reported its financial results for the fiscal fourth quarter of 2022, posting a September quarter record revenue of $90.1 billion, up 8 percent year over year.

In the quarter, Apple saw its Services category, which includes paid Apple Music, Apple News+, iCloud+, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, Apple Fitness+ and more, generate the iPhone maker $19 billion during the quarter, up from $18 billion in the year-ago quarter.

Following the announcement, Apple has confirmed that it has over 900 million users pay for subscriptions, up 155 million during the last 12 months.

The announcement follows after Apple announced this week that it was upping the price of Apple Music, Apple TV+ and its subscription bundle Apple One, citing “an increase in licensing costs” for the price hike.
