Apple reports September quarter record revenue of $90.1 billion in Q4 2022

Apple has announced its financial results for the fiscal fourth quarter of 2022, posting a September quarter record revenue of $90.1 billion, up 8 percent year over year.
Running from June 26 through September 24, the financial results announced today cover the period when Apple began accepting pre-orders for the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, new Apple Watch Series 8, next-generation Apple Watch SE and the all-new Apple Watch Ultra, offering the first financial insight following the release of the latest devices.
Annual revenue in Q4 2022 was $394.3 billion, up 8 percent year over year, and annual earnings per diluted share were $6.11, up 9 percent year over year.
In the year-ago quarter, Apple announced a September quarter revenue of $83.4 billion.
The announcement comes ahead of a live call chaired by Apple CEO Tim Cook and Chief Financial Officer Luca Maestri at 2:00 p.m. PT / 5:00 p.m. ET, with the pair taking part in a short question and answer session with investors, which will also be available to stream live on Apple.com.
